Norman Chad follows me on Twitter. Yes, that Norman Chad: mustachioed, bespectacled, appreciator of asses of all genders, one half of the famous poker commentating duo of Norm and Chad, Maryland's homegrown middle-aged guy with a dream.
Hopefuls from 50 states submitted their Twitter names to be chosen, 1 from each state, to be followed by our shorter, whinier, but oh-so-hooked-up hero. In the end, with apparently no other entries from the tiny former colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, he chose me.
AS I WRITE THIS HE IS ACTUALLY KICKING SOME SERIOUS POKER ASS IN THE $1500 STUD/8 EVENT #15 AT THE 2011 WSOP. (19th out of 88, original field of 606 - not at all shabby!!)
I, determined to be a good and worthy followee, as well as followER, have been railing more than raling and hoping for some Chad Gold.
